Pet Caregiver Positions Available (Metro Washington DC Area)

The purpose of the Pet Caregiver position is to provide dog walking and pet sitting service to out clients. This includes VIP walks (walks on a daily basis for the same client), on-call walks, bed & breakfast (when applicable) and overnight stays. The Pet Caregiver position is the main face of the company to the client.

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Provide dog walking and pet sitting services on a daily (VIP) or on-call basis.

• Responsible for maintaining a “Daily Diary” that summarizes the events of each visit.

• Attends various pet-related community events that KbK participates in throughout the year.

Senior Consultant

We're in need of an ambitious senior consultant to provide support to our ever-growing client base within Fairfield County. Our ideal candidate has skills that range from desktop support to server and network administration, as well as a healthy mix of other technology know-how, from HTML to VoIP. You need excellent communication and technical skills and must be able to work independently to prioritize support among multiple clients.

We've built a stable, manageable environment, so major emergencies are practically non-existent. Regardless, our clients call on us often. Support is provided both on-site and with our remote management solution, and a successful candidate will need to respond quickly, even after-hours.

Breadth and depth of knowledge is critical. We'll want you to be able to configure an IP-based PBX one day, help architect a virtualized offsite backup solution the next, then finish off with a bit of spyware removal. Confidence in your skills is a must – we're a boutique firm where only the exceptional will survive. Our clients are reasonable but demanding, and if we don't throw enough challenges your way, they will. Provide day-to-day support of our clients' infrastructures. This includes:

Windows XP/Vista workstations
Windows Server 2003, 2008 (and Exchange environments)
Blackberry Enterprise Server
Citrix Presentation Server
VMWare Server/ESX
Develop and deploy new client networks.

Troubleshoot Internet, wireless and security issues.

Administer our proactive network management platform.

Provide support for firewalls, VPNs, peripherals, BlackBerry devices, email and remote connection issues.

Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and participate in developing new service offerings and management methodologies.


Minimum 6 years providing IT support.
Must be experienced with Microsoft products, including Windows 2008/2003/XP/Vista, Exchange, Office 2003/2007/2010

The position will provide pre-sales technical support, solution architecture, and software integration services to our enterprise customers. Our software products provide high-speed data transfer across many different types of networks, systems, and workflows in fast-paced industries such as digital media creation and distribution, and federal intelligence. The role is critically important to deployment success as the customer's primary pre-sales technical contact. Responsibilities: Demonstrate Aspera's transport technology and product solution set to enterprise customers through web, onsite, and trade show meetings. In colloboration with technical marketing, create and communicate analyses of competitive differentiation. Troubleshoot issues in the evaluation and deployment of Aspera software - networking, OS, file system and user management issues. Train customers in the product architecture, configuration, and use of Aspera software on Windows, Mac OS X, and Unix systems. Develop scripts, web tools, and technical documentation for integrating and using Aspera's products and SDK. Systematically track product deficiencies and feed back requirements to the technical marketing and development team. Assist the sales and business development teams in identifying and qualifying new opportunities.

Position Overview
In partnership with management, effectively allocate and control inventory levels to maximize sales, inventory, turnover and profit. Work with OTB/Merchandising plan to insure company objectives are met. Allocation of inventory across retail points of distribution (stores and Internet) to achieve agreed upon financial targets.

The Merchandise Allocator works with Finance and Buying to develop statistical assessments of business trends and recommend plans for future direction and areas of opportunity.

Principle Responsibilities:

• Develop and prepare merchandising plans for sales, markdowns, and inventory to the SKU level. Communicate buy parameter to merchants for execution.

• Monitor and assess current sell through volume, markdowns, margin and inventory, and assortment plans to forecast future plan. Identify key buys and selling at the style level.

• Work with marketing to identify key buys and departments for promotional activity. Determine accurate inventory levels and pricing for promotional forecast.

• Allocate product to the store level. Develop parameters for assessing store selling trends at the SKU level to determine current product assortment and future buy levels. Develop replenishment parameters and strategies by store.

• Work with Merchandising to determine markdown strategies and timing of clearance.

• In conjunction with Production and Merchandising teams, identify ways to purchase product to reduce lead times and processing at the Warehouse.

Skill Summary:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1-3 years of experience in retail Merchandise Planning, Inventory Planning or Allocation
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Expert command of retail math concepts and applications
