Business Manager: Wholesale distribution of seafood (San Francisco Bay Area)

Job Description:
Manage the marketing department effectively. Execute the growth strategy and the coordination of the marketing staff to enhance the position of the company as a market leader. Your responsibility is to design and strengthen our supply chain and deliver seafood solutions to our customers. This opportunity requires strong finance, marketing and people management skills. This career is performance and results oriented. It has a competitive salary range of $70k to $90k, a generous bonus plan, and a benefit plan.

Typical Projects/Tasks:
• Manage the growth and development of the company in sales/revenue planning, supply chain & customer management
• Develop and manage plans to assure the marketing staff achieves quotas
• Contact/analyze major accounts during and after marketing campaigns
• Work closely with marketing staff to achieve overall business objectives
• Develop/implement future sales & marketing strategies
• Introduce new seafood items for marketing promotions
• Guide staff members to success. Predict trends & profitability
Qualifications:
• A minimum of 4 years of senior management experience
• A proven track record of achieving financial goals
• At least two(2) years management experience in food/seafood
• Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred
• Directly managed a staff of 50 or more in a company/division
